Had shows in Germany cancelled due to their appearance at Nazi-friendly fest Messes des Morts in 2018. That fest was disrupted by anti-fascist protesters, whom Uada called “far more hateful than any words or actions we experienced at Messe des Morts”. In response to the gig cancellations the band released a typical “apolitical” statement. Blah. However, in 2021 the band (without being explicit who they were referring to) called out Nazi-packed Steelfest as “a daycare for Nazis” and subsequently toured with explicit leftists Wolves in the Throne Room and Full of Hell
