+Blut aus Nord is a french progressive black metal band.
+The name Blut aus Nord is German and literally translates to "Blood from North", but is not grammatically correct. It is possible that the band intended for it to mean "Blood of the North" ("Sang du Nord" in French, "Blut des Nordens" or "Blut aus dem Norden" in German).
+Vindsval, the vocalist and guitarist, made the following statements:
